The fire door family 500 product line is designed to be durable and safe. The door type 500 EFS, as an innovation in the field of fire automatic sliding door technology, provides high-frequency transition in-out at normal operation. It functions as a standard automatic sliding door and ensures touchless access with sensor detection in both directions.

In this case, the 500 EFS door with a fixed side screen enables optimal light flow and full use of the maximum clear opening height. It is made of VA THERM fireproofed isolated steel profiles (RAL 7022) and laminated fire safety glass = 15mm.

Fire escape sliding doors 500 EFS divide two fire sectors on evacuation routes from the hallway to the staircase.

ESCAPE & RESCUE: Push or pull in case of emergency

Fire safety plays an important role in building construction and 500 EFS meets all the requirements. In emergencies, the mechanical system closes the door and transforms it into a swing door. A simple push on the door leaves enables people to escape from the dangerous area. On the opposite direction, rescue is available with the Flush PULL handle. The closed door acts as a fire barrier for EI30 = 30 min fire resistance, preventing the spread of fire and heat to the rest of the premises.

500 EFS is 100% tested and certified in accordance with all European safety directives and standards: EN 14351-1, EN 14351-2, EN 16034, EN 16361, EN 16005, DIN 18650, EN 179, EN 1154, EN 13501-2 and EN 1155.
